Mossyrock is located between scenic Riffe Lake to its east and Mayfield Lake to its west along the green rolling forested foothills of the Cascade mountain range.

     Mossyrock was incorporated in 1948 and has a population of about 768.

     The Mossyrock City Council meets at 6 p.m. every third Wednesday of each month at the Mossyrock Community Center, located at 219 East State Street, Mossyrock, WA 98654.
